We have a guest in the kitchen! Fresh off of our stint at the 2013 Toronto Gourmet Food & Wine Expo, we knew we had to get this recipe for mushroom mac n’ cheese. Chef Professor Olaf Mertens of Niagara College’s Canadian Food and Wine Institute has been kind enough to share his recipe with us today! We know you’ll love it as much as we did!!

Canadian Mushroom Farmers would like to thank everyone who purchased fresh mushroom in the PINK trays during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. For every kilogram of fresh mushrooms sold in the pink packages from September 23rd to November 8th, a contribution will be made to the BCSC.
Happy Halloween! I have to admit that this is probably my favourite holiday. I am such a kid at heart with my love of getting dressed up, watching the scary (and the not-so-scary) themed movies and of course enjoying all the edible treats that go along with the day.
