Our Final Mush’tache

With this snow on the ground, it’s easy to tell that we are nearing the end of the month. It’s officially the last week of Movember and almost time for those ‘staches to go! I’ve been watching my friends and family on ca.movember.com raise funds in support of Prostate Cancer research and men’s health.

Cancer statistics are never pretty.  But the good news is research shows that 30 to 35 percent of all cancers can be prevented by eating well, being active and not being overweight. Along with physical activity and not smoking, healthy eating is one of the cornerstones for helping to prevent cancer.

On a busy weeknight, sometimes all I want to do is throw something in the oven and come back when the timer goes off. Sound familiar? In this busy time, towards the end of the month deadlines and getting into the  holiday season, we need that one great back-up plan. These quick meals are packed full of vitamins and nutrients.
